Hi Reader, At every Contamination screening so far, someone has asked me the same thing:“What’s next?” And I get it. As a writer and filmmaker, it’s the most exciting question there is. It’s also one of the hardest to answer. Do I jump straight into writing a Contamination sequel? Plenty of people who’ve seen the movie want one - and I’ll admit, I’ve got some killer ideas for where the story could go next. Or do I pivot to something entirely new? Hi Reader, Over the past few weekends, we’ve had the absolute joy of watching Contamination play to sold-out crowds in multiple cities. Some folks even came back for a second round - bringing friends with them. That, to me, is the ultimate compliment. When someone enjoys a movie enough to share it, that says everything. In a time when fewer and fewer movies seem to invite repeat viewings, it made me think: What are we doing right that so many bigger films are missing? Why is “rewatchability”...
